Genae is a fourth-year Ph.D. student in Philosophy with primary research interests in epistemology and social and feminist philosophy (and their various intersections). Prior to coming to UNC, she earned a BA in philosophy from Wellesley College. Her dissertation aims to vindicate the central theses of standpoint epistemology by appealing to considerations about higher-order evidence, among other things. When not philosophizing, Genae enjoys climbing rocks, cooking vegan food, and wrangling her cat.
