NC State + Duke + UNC Regional Undergraduate PPE Workshop

NC State will hold a regional seminar  for meritorious and interested students attending NC State, Duke, and UNC-CH on Friday October 25, 2019 from 12.30-5 p.m. at the Stateview Hotel on Centennial Campus in Raleigh.  Students will participate in two sessions to discuss readings on topics related to the future:(1) the future of work and (2) the future economy.  Actual readings and more details will be given to you upon acceptance of your application.  The sessions will use the Liberty Fund’s rules of procedure and be led by Profs. Alex Marcoci (UNC), Richard Salsman(Duke), and Andrew Taylor (NC State).  The seminar will begin with a lunch and there will be a short break half way through.  There will also be an optional dinner immediately following at a TBD restaurant in Raleigh.

Students selected to attend must be present for the entire seminar and will receive a $100 stipend.  All food and readings will be provided (including the optional dinner).  Space is limited.  The seminar and dinner are both a high-quality academic experience and an opportunity for students to converse and network with peers and faculty.
The form deadline is Monday, September 16.  Please confirm in your statement of interest whether or not you will be attending the dinner (this is needed to confirm numbers for the restaurant).
