National PPE Undergraduate Colloquium

This is an invitational colloquium that brings some of the best PPE Undergraduates from around the country to Chapel Hill for two days of intensive discussion of material that has been read in advance.

This year’s topic is Equality.  We will read the following papers for the colloquium:

1. Herb Gintis and Sam Bowles, “The Inheritance of Inequality”

2. David Schmidtz, “Equal Shares and Equal Respect”

3. Elizabeth Anderson, “Relational Equality”

4. Jerry Gaus, “The Egalitarian Species”
