“Yes, No, Maybe: Can Law Fix Our Troubled Sexual Culture?”

Shari Motro writes at the intersection of gender and tax law and policy, and teaches courses related to these topics. She is the author of West’s The Income Tax Map: A Bird’s-Eye View of Federal Income Taxation for Law Students, and her scholarship has appeared in the Stanford Law Review, Northwestern Law Review, and Iowa Law Review. Professor Motro is also a frequent commenter in the popular press, and has published editorials in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Boston Globe, among other venues. She is co-founder of the Richmond Contemplative Law Group, and she has received the Black Law Students Association’s Willie Moore Award for promoting cross-cultural understanding and diversity, as well as the University of Richmond’s Distinguished Educator Award.
