PPE Talk: Peter Rosendorff: Economic Transparency and Political (in)Stability

Peter Rosendorff is a Professor of Politics at New York University and has an affiliate appointment at NYU-Abu Dhabi. The editor of the interdisciplinary journal, Economics and Politics, he has served on the editorial boards of American Journal of Political Science, International Organization, Journal of Politics and International Interactions.
Dr. Rosendorff’s talk will center around the issue of transparency on domestic political stability. He will speak in much greater detail about the importance of data and transparency to young democratic states, especially those in poverty, comparing them with autocratic counterparts.
