The UNC Philosophy, Politics, and Economics Program is delighted to announce the appointment of Professor Luc Bovens, who will be joining us on January 1, 2018. Professor Bovens is currently at the London School of Economics, where he has been Head of the Department of Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method (2009-2015) and Coordinator of the MSc Programme Philosophy and Public Policy (2003-2015).
Bovens has done important work in, among other areas, political philosophy and the philosophy of economics, in epistemology, and in political science.
