Daniel Kapust is in the Political Science Department at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. His Republicanism, Rhetoric, and Roman Political Thought, was published in 2011 by Cambridge University Press. Papers of his have appeared in the Journal of Politics, Political Studies, History of Political Thought, Journal of the History of Ideas, and the European Journal of Political Theory. He is working on a second book project dealing with flattery and political theory.
