PPE Conference on the Economics and Political Theory of Social Change

This is an interdisciplinary conference for undergraduates focusing on Austrian and Public Choice theories and their different explanations of social change.

Speakers will be Geoffrey Brennan (past-President of the Public Choice Society), Bruce Caldwell (Director of The Center for the History of Political Economy at Duke). Kevin Hoover (Professor of Economics and Philosophy at Duke), Loren Lomasky (Director of the Political Philosophy, Policy and Law Program at the University of Virginia), Michael Valdez-Moses (a founding member of the Gerst Program for Political, Economic, and Humanistic Studies at Duke), and  Georg Vanberg (Professor of Political Science at UNC and Associate Editor for the journal Public Choice).

The conference will begin at 3:30 on Friday and run through Saturday evening.  If you would like to come, please request a space using this FORM.
