Carolina Conversations: The First Amendment and Free Speech at UNC

Hosted by the University Office for Diversity and Inclusion, this discussion will explore what the First Amendment protects, what it does not protect, and how it applies in the setting of a public university. We will also discuss state laws and University policies that regulate First Amendment rights.

Vice Chancellor and General Counsel Mark W. Merritt is the speaker. The event will be moderated by Associate Vice Chancellor and Chief Diversity Officer Dr. G. Rumay Alexander.

ALL faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend the discussion.
